What Makes It Awesome?

Spiceyard is a nice calm restaurant in the bustling street of Koramangala. I had been to this restaurant on a weekday for dinner along with my friend.

The ambience of the restaurant is pretty good, nice ambient lighting is lit at this place. The wooden furniture is pretty good at this restaurant. They can accommodate around 70-80 pax.

Service at the restaurant is too good. The crew members are courteous and are well trained. There is always a person assigned almost all the time to an individual table.

What did I eat?
Masakkali: This mocktail was prepared using the raw mangoes and was pretty much mean.

Aam Gupshup: Aam Gupshup was another mocktail which was served, again prepared from raw mangoes. I liked this mocktail. The mixture of raw mangoes along with some spices was pretty good to taste.

Chicken man chow soup: The chicken soup was pretty good. It had a good amount of chicken chunks and other ingredients in them.

Paneer tikka: The paneer tikka was one of the best among the veg starters that was provided at this place. The paneer chunks were well coated with the thick masala gravy. They were soft and good.

Veg ball Manchurian: The veg Manchurian wasn't good. It was very hard, neither juicy nor spicy. It would be great if they could improve on this.

Chicken Lasooni Tikka: The presentation of it was worth a photo for sure. It was brought in a copper vessel with the lasooni being hung horizontally. It was not a delight to the eyes but also the taste buds.

Chicken 65: It was conventional chicken 65, pretty good to taste.

Nalli Nihari: The Nalli nihari was ultimate, the lamb chops were fresh soft and the preparation was simply outstanding. The gravy was simply amazing to taste. They were a good combination along with the roti.

Firni: Firni was pretty much average.

All in all, spice yard is a nice restaurant which provides decent food. Their pricing is pretty much at par concerning the area. It's a place which suits for a good family gathering or an office lunch or dinner. Parking is not an issue since there is a basement parking available.

Recommended food: Chicken lasooni, Paneer tikka, Nalli nihari.
