What Makes It Awesome?

What a great experience Chai Galli delivered. Have always wanted to visit them since they opened, whenever I drove past them, that urge increased and finally, I visited them recently.

The Decor is Indian Quirky with Bollywood overtones, With Manish Arora'ish Tea Pots.

Since it was a warm evening, I started off with a refreshing glass of iced tea, that helped cool down a bit. Then off with a Corn Cheese Pani (less) Sookha Poori, that hit all the right notes.

The garlic bread was wonderfully made, but I was impressed by the Dhokla & Kakhra fusion dishes, the presentation was absolutely fabulous, tasted wonderful! Worth a mention was the Dhokla on top of beautiful circular Khakras, & the Khakra Pizza.

Next Came, one of the most perfectly made Aglio Olio, the best part, the pasta was cooked al dente. The cheese sprinkling on top was an overkill, but the dish was delicious.

I tried the Masaledar Maggi, which was a delicious spicy version of the very homely favourite, Maggi. Loved the mild sweetness added by the fried caramelised onion on top.

But the best of the visit was definitely the Chai, both the Masala & The Ginger Chai, perfect to the core & one of the most delicious chai I tasted this year.

It’s a great place to catch up with friends gulping over tasty chai, and not just over snacks but also some wonderful mains in a wonderful ambience.
