I visited The Bier Library, a really popular and buzzing place to try out some food and drinks. There was a decent crowd even though it was the middle of the week. After the now normal temperature and sanitization checks, I stepped inside into what was a fantastic ambience.
The place looks absolutely amazing and has a small pond as well. There is an open area for people who like to smoke and other colourful and vibrant seating for the non-smokers. They also have a top-level seating available. Full marks on the ambience and vibe.
Coming to the food and drinks, read on for a detailed review of what you must be having whenever you visit the place.
DRINKS
We tried the beer samplers and they were terrific. Try them out and then order a full glass according to your preferences.
Also savoured many cocktails which were really well prepared and were quite potent. The classic cosmopolitan was amazing. Also tried one vodka-based cocktail with basil which was really nice. So there are enough options for folks who are not into beers.
FOOD
Chicken Tikka : An absolute no brainer. Juicy, succulent and well-marinated chicken tikka. Must have dish.
Mutton Seekh Kebab: Another dish which will do justice to your expectations. One of the best mutton seekh you will find in the city.
Cilantro Chicken: A welcome deviation from the regular dishes. This one was also really delightful.
Andhra Chilli Chicken: A really underrated dish, this was an absolute hoot. You get an aftertaste of green chilli in it. Mouthwatering dish.
Bacon Coated Prawns: A great fusion dish which was really flavoursome.
Mushroom Pepper Fry: Vegetarians do not be dismayed as this dish is a showstopper. Nice pepper flavour, do not miss this.
Panner Malai Tikka: Super soft paneer generously marinated with malai. If you like this kind of marination, it is the dish for you.
Onion Rings: I don't really like onion rings at most places but liked it here. It was really crisp and well done. Probably the best onion rings I have had till date.
Veg Nachos: Very thin nachos loaded with all the usual toppings. Good snacking appetizer.
Main Course : Tried their 24-inch veg pizza which was really humongous and easily good for 4-5 people. Then there was mushroom malai curry, chicken tikka masala and tandoori roti. I am biased towards the chicken tikka masala. It was absolute bliss.
DESSERTS: However stuffed you are, there is always a place for desserts.
Tiramisu: It was pretty good in taste and well presented. Needless to say, it finished in a jiffy.
Serra Dura : A Portuguese dessert, made with whipped cream, dulce de leche and crushed cookies. First time I had this and it was absolutely awesome.
Tres Leches: If you like milk-based desserts, this is for you. Its a sponge cake
soaked in three kinds of milk: evaporated milk, condensed milk, and heavy cream.
Dark Choco Rum Mousse: This one was my personal favourite. Having a very nice rum flavour, this was sinfully delectable.
Overall, this is as good as it gets when it comes to amazing ambience, food and drinks. Service is also excellent. Bookmark and visit it as soon as you can. Highly recommended.
