During this festive season, I was looking out for restaurants that offer a buffet. I came across this place named "The big barbeque" in Marathahalli and decided to try out their buffet spread along with my friends. I was really amazed to see their spread which has more than 150+ variety of dishes at a very affordable price of 799+ tax.
The ambience gives you a cosy vibe and has an ample amount of seating area. The staff is very courteous and friendly. This place is also known for live performances and birthday celebrations done by the restaurant staff, which can completely make your day.
Talking about food, which had great variety and was absolutely scrumptious
Welcome drink and panipuri were served as soon as we occupied a table.
After then the veg and non-veg starters were served. I really liked their crispy corn, Cajun-spiced potatoes, herb grilled fish, peanut butter chicken and grilled mushrooms. It was perfectly marinated and tasted really well. The char could be visibly seen which really gave a nice flavour. They also serve some piping hot veg and chicken momos
Though many of us tend to avoid eating the main course in buffet and directly jump to desserts after starters, but I would like to strongly to try out their main course because it's really outstanding.
I mostly tried out their non-veg items like handi Murg, mutton rogan josh, crab masala and biryani. All were freshly made and tasted amazing.
Apart from this, they had live counters for wood-fired pizzas and various kinds of chats. They had live grill counters with some exotic veggies and non veg items like rabbit, duck, turkey, fish, squid and many more. They also had nati style counters which is rarely seen in buffets.
Coming to the last and most important section of the buffet, I would really like to applaud the bif barbecue team to serve an amazing spread of desserts. They had gulab jamuns, sewai kheer, moong dal halwa, pastries, mango firni, sabudana custard, different flavours of icecream and kulfi and what not. As much it was pleasing for the eyes to see, it was much more delightful to taste.
I absolutely loved each and every aspect of this place ranging from ambience to food and to services. Would definitely like to visit this place again.
