Halfway Home
When we think of Nicobar's home furnishing collection, the first thing that comes to mind is elegant florals, followed by majestic animals. Halfway Home offers something very similar in its pretty collection of table runners, placemats, planters, cushion covers, and more, all in varied floral patterns.
Price: Starting at INR 530
Pro-Tip: Table runners definitely add a statement to your tablescapes. Here are a few more brands that we love.
Rad Living
We feel that scented candle jars make for really awesome gifts. And we've, time and again, sent Nicobar's adorable candle jars as gifts to people. Not only do they create a snug mood, but they also add to the overall appeal of any space. Rad Living is a brand that does a plethora (unlike Nicobar) of scented soy candles in plenty of different fragrances. Their USP? Quirky quotes printed on these candles jars!
Price: Jar candles start at INR 845
Pro-Tip: There is nothing sweeter than a divine-smelling room. Check out our list of clean candle brands and room fresheners here.
Kaksh Studio
However limited, Nicobar's brass cutlery is just lovely. We were more than delighted to discover Kaksh Studio, a home décor brand that has a slightly similar collection of serveware in elegant designs. Leaf, fauna, knots—they have some really interesting designs on the handles of spoons, forks, and knives.
Price: Starting at INR 490
Brick Brown
Brick Brown is a home and kitchen brand that sells serving platters similar to Nicobar's. Their Tropical square and round platters instantly reminded us of the Madagascar Chip & Dip Platter from Nicobar. Both are equally vivid and highly functional. You can also shop for fancy bottle openers, serving trays, printed platters, tumblers, and other home accessories.
Price: Starting at INR 349
Pro-Tip: Hosting a lavish dinner soon? Get the right kind of cutlery and serveware from these brands.
The Table Fable
Another homegrown brand that has Nicobar-like aesthetics when it comes to serveware is The Table Fable. This online brand houses exquisitely handcrafted stoneware like coffee mugs, trays, quarter and dinner plates, platters and bowls. Their Burma Set, in particular, reminded us of the bowls at Nico.
Price: Starting at INR 550
Amalfiee Ceramics
There are quite a few ceramic brands that take us back to Nicobar's collection. One such amazing brand is Amalfiee Ceramics. The similarity between Nicobar and this brand's whimsical, abstract work on crockeries is uncanny. For instance, their handcrafted Bird Print Bowls, Handpainted Cactus Dinner Plates, Maharaja Print Cups, Blue Strawberry Coffee Mugs, and so many others.
Price: Starting at INR 340
Pro-Tip: Wish to go all out on buying expensive dinnerware but low on dough? Check out these expensive-looking but affordable tableware.
Folkstorys
Luxurious, contemporary, and very, very pleasing to look at—that's how we'd describe Folkstory's home decor. The Pine Serving Decor Tray, Squareleaf Tray, Plates, Glass Lanterns, Candle Holders, Storage Jars, and more totally give a very Nicobar-esque vibe.
Price: Starting at INR 649
Pro-Tip: Did you know metal tableware is a thing now? Well, yes, and you've got to check out these brands for it.
Assemblage
Founded in 2019 by Kavita Singhania, Assemblage makes home and kitchen accessories by blending traditional handcrafts and contemporary designs to bring modern luxury to the table. Their brass and silver cutlery looks absolutely exquisite and expensive and exudes the same elegance as the Nicobar ones. With a wide variety of sleek and simple designs, along with the more complicated ones, we highly recommend checking out their collection for a super stylish dining space for you and your family.
Price: Starts at INR 1,900
Twig & Twine
From the house of Nykaa Fashion, Twig and Twine offers an exquisite collection of decor, bedding, home, and kitchen and makes pieces that add a lot of character to any space. They have trays, bowls, cutlery, soft-furnishing, eco-friendly decor, and much more. The bowls and plates remind us of the floral, minimal aesthetic just as chic as the one like Nicobar.
Prices: Starts at INR 200
Freedom Tree
Freedom Tree is an absolute favourite brand of ours, and we think it should be one on every decor enthusiast's radar to cop some of the most beautiful pieces to add to their home. They are a one-stop destination for all your home needs, offering furniture, dining, fabrics, furnishing, decor, light, and the most vibrant collection of ceramics. You can find rich motifs, florals, jungle designs and bright coloured patterns on their cutlery and serveware, which comes close to the essence of Nicobar's aesthetic. Their belief in sustainable craftsmanship, responsible design, and uplifting the community also gets them a plus from our end.
Price: Starts at INR 600
Ellementry
Blending functionality and aesthetic sensibility in perfect unison, Ellementry by Aysh Baid offers a super cool range of modern minimal decor and furniture that has the ability to brighten up any space. They are well-known and regarded for their wooden decor essentials, but their terracotta containers and organisers, cast-iron pans, and expert-approved kitchen tools, including beautiful kitchenware and ceramics, are equally superior. Their chip and dip bowls, trays with a rustic and minimal design, and wooden bowls are some of our favourites that, right off the back, remind us of Nicobar's Zanzibar collection.
