As a vegetarian, I often hear this that we miss out so many delicious and mouth-watering dishes and it's just that they don't know the range of the cuisines vegetarian items can offer. One such place got the spot in the Jayanagar area with the name - Stegi.
The place has got a dual floor seating space with indoor and outdoor seating space with a unique touch to it. While the inside space gives the vibe of any Arabian restaurant, the outdoor space has a European touch to the decor and space. As it was the sunny time of the day, I choose to stay indoor there with the sand beneath my feet giving quite a relaxing feel.
Coming to the first, I have order Pinnacolada beverage which was smokingly awesome and in a literal manner I say. Then on the starters/appetizers, we have tried out Watermelon Feta - watermelon cubes several with feta cheese and balsamic vinegar with smoking pot base giving it picturesque presentation. Next was Pani Puri Surprise with a unique manner of pain puri serving, Snowmosa where mini samosas were served with chole and curd emulsification on top of it.
On the main course aspect, we have tried Roasted Cheese Papad and indeed it's not something which one person could finish so yea that worked as a meal for us.
Then there were Desert items, in which we tried out Frozen Tiramisu, Ghevar Cheesecake, Waffle Sandwich. Tiramisu and Waffle are decent and I would like to recommend them as a safe option thing. Ghevar Cheesecake is what I tasted the most unique dessert in recent times and loved it. But the most delicious spot got held by the Melting Dome which had layered hazelnut pastry with vanilla ice cream placed inside a chocolate dome. The presentation here made us enough anxious to taste it and I must admit that it was worth it.
Considering all, I liked the taste and service at Stegi and the ambience just like the cherry on top of it. For any vegetarian, this place is a must go to and worth 3-4 hours so you can experience the cuisine till your stomach
