With over 50 outlets worldwide in countries like China, Russia, USA and Ukraine, WAFL has finally stepped onto Indian soil and has opened outlets in Delhi, Punjab and, of course, Namma Bengaluru. Yep, their first store in the city is now open on Residency Road. Serving up all of the chain’s signatures, expect the WAFL Corn Dog {made from salt waffle dough stuffed with sausage, cheese or minced meat}, WAFL Sandwich, WAFL Pie and the Hong Kong WAFL on the menu. And don’t forget to tuck into their soft serve, that comes in a unique J-shaped cone, which is a big hit with the crowds. Plus, there’ll be shakes, tea and coffee too.
For those who haven’t heard of WAFL before, that’s about to change as the chain is planning to open over 80 outlets in the country this year. WAFL claims that their waffles are healthier too, so you can gorge on their sweet and savoury offerings guiltfree. Their space on Residency Road is small and cosy and a bite for two will set you back by around INR 400.
