Recently I tried their newly launched Darjeeling momos. Wow momos have always come out with innovative ideas in momos and dumplings, but this time they have done something very basic hill-type authentic momos.
I tried both veg and non-veg varieties of Darjeeling momos, The veg ones were quite good with fresh vegetables and the sauce was spicy and Delicious. Served hot, just 5 of the big-sized momos were enough for small hunger.
I tried non-veg Darjeeling momos in three modes, steamed momos, fried momos and pan-fried momos. The steamed momos were fresh and served hot. The filling was full and the dough was as thin as possible, which makes a perfect momo. The fried ones were crisp and went well with some spicy tangy chutney. The pan-fried was made in dalle chilly sauce for the hills, perfect balance of sweet and spicy flavours, this pan-fried Darjeeling momo made our day.
