Masala Mandi: Visited this place after hearing a lot about it one noon. Must say it's a very pretty place with really pretty ambience. You get that Desi feels within with their brass utensils glasses and all that.
They got live chat & mocktail counter. They initially suggest you start with a chat and then go with the routine of starters, main course, desserts etc. So we filled the same:
They served us each of the Chaats in a Thaali & few more could be taken from the chat counter. Pani Puri could have been better, it had papdi chat, Bhel, dabeli & many more yum chats. Post which they got the grill to the table to serve the starters. Hot malai prawns, chicken, fish were served. In veg, there were mushroom, pineapple (yum), broccoli, soft malai paneer etc. And few more veg starters like Veg kebab, Panneer cake etc were served to table. Their veg items have a lot of options & tasted good too.
The main course included a variety of items like Soup, Biriyani, Salads, Curd rice, Fish curry, Butter chicken, Dal, Roti & many more both in veg & non-veg.
We also had a grape & orange mocktail which was very refreshing.
Coming to desserts it had Hot jamuns, flavoured icecream, Badam roll, Rasmalai, Shahi ka tukda(yum), Rabdi, Peda etc. Everything was tasty. The service hospitality was good. We ended lunch with Paan.
Overall had a great experience. Would love to visit again. There was even outdoor seating with jhoola.
