Nestled in the by lanes of Khar, Vidyarthi Khadi Bhandar may not have a fancy name but it has awesome stuff at reasonable prices. They have elegant Tassar silk dupattas at INR 1,850, kurtas at INR 550 and men's shirts at INR 1,000. Their men’s collection comprises of shirts, kurtas, smart Nehru jackets and traditional dhotis. Apart from apparel, they also have a collection of home furnishing.
The double bedsheets and single bedsheets (all in khadi) are reasonably priced and you can also buy bright cushion covers to pep up your house with beautiful ethnic block prints. A value-for-money brand, Vidyarthi Khadi is comparatively cheaper than larger brands, but offers the same quality.

Khadi Gramodhyog Bhandar, Andheri
This spot in Andheri is a bit of a #HiddenGem! Since they sell a lot more than khadi now, you can ask the store assistants to take you through their khadi collection. Yes, you can expect all the basic elements that make up a khadi collection - you got kurtas, bundis, and bedsheets. But here's what sets this store apart. They've got khadi table runners, as well, and sofa covers, too.
The wonderful thing about khadi is that it's really easy to maintain while also adding a lovely, earthy, bohemian touch to your decor.
Prices: INR 200 onwards. This place is ultra-affordable.
Cottonworld, Multiple Locations
Don't let the name throw you off! This chain may celebrate cotton, but they've got a whole lotta love for khadi, too! Their physical store has a section that's got a ton of options that are modern, comfortable and colourful. A few years ago, all you'd see in a lot of brands' khadi collections was a sea of beige and earth tones. We're so glad that's not the case, here!
This is a fancier store compared to the ones mentioned before, and so you'll be able to find more on-trend clothing, think loungewear and contemporary office wear.

Khadi India Lounge, Vile Parle
Smack in the middle of Irla, surrounded by stores selling a lot of products you didn't know you needed is a #HiddenGem that strictly sticks to khadi, and celebrates its legacy. Khadi India is actually a government initiative, and this store is one of its very few physical offshoots. Most of their collection is filled with breezy silhouettes for men and women, tons of upholstery options, and loose fabrics that can be used for crafting your own clothing.
They've also got a cute range of kauna grass items for the home, like trays and baskets.

Hastanjali Khadi Store, Girgaon
Hastanjali happens to be one of THE oldest khadi stores in the city. In fact, it was one of the first few stores set up in the city during the Swadeshi movement, all the way back in 1937!
This iconic store just celebrated its 85th anniversary, and you can trust that their collection reflects their expertise, with its wide range, covering a plethora of colours and silhouettes. Score a Nehru jacket here - this brand was one of the first that started selling them!
