Alternatively, one can take a train to Narayangaon from Mumbai, or even a bus, which will transport you from Dadar to Narayangaon bus-stop, from which the vineyard is only about three kilometres.
What’s So Unique About It?
Whenever one talks of vineyards in Maharashtra, Sula comes to mind, which is why it is over-populated and commercialized to a great extent. On the other hand, Chateau Indage in Narayangaon, which grows up to 25 different varieties of grapes, is relatively unexplored and not as crowded. These vineyards are also famous for their Premium Chantilly Wines.
The vineyard has premium facilities in the bar, in terms of stock and wine-tasting. One can taste six different types of wine for INR 150. Chateau Indage also has its own resort where you can stay, in case you feel like extending your visit.
Anything Else?
Covering a total area of 2000 acres of vineyards all over the country, Chateau Indage is said to be the second largest vineyard in India, and along with being in an extremely picturesque location, is a must not only for wine-lovers but also for anyone who wants a peaceful and relaxing getaway.
