If you've been wanting to try something new while also heading out of the city, there's a camp in Kurungwadi, 12 kms from Igatpuri hill station, that has floating tents. Yup, you read that right. Gather your friends and family, and make that plan already!
Apart from a lovely camping experience, you can even also indulge in some astro photography, where you take photos of the Milkyway Galaxy and star trails. The campsite is also located next to a water reservoir and surrounded by lush greenery, especially Kalsubai peak. There are a lot of water sport activities that you can indulge in here, as your tents are all lake-facing.
If you're opting for a package with transport, your cost per person is INR 1,600. If you're opting for the package without transport, your amount is INR 1,350 per person.
The itinerary is as follows - Saturday evening around 4:30 PM, you reach the campsite, have snacks, indulge in water sports, enjoy a campfire and BBQ, have dinner and sleep. The next morning, you have breakfast and check out from the campsite by 9:30 AM. The cost includes a floating tent experience, transport (if you've opted for it), snacks, dinner and breakfast the next morning, archery, tubing, swimming with a life jacket, and basic first aid.
