'Ganjifa' is the name given to an ancient Indian card game. The name comes from the Persian word Ganjifeh which means playing cards. The specialty of these cards is that they are traditionally hand-painted. The cards are typically circular and have been used by kings in our glorious history as a recreational activity.
What makes it awesome is that these cards were used to teach, learn and tell stories from our ancient scriptures and holy books, and they make for gorgeous home decor.
The session, on March 14, will be a guided one, so there's no prior experience required. You also get to take home the beautifully painted card you create. The session begins at 12:30 PM and will go on till 3:30 PM.
