Rann Utsav is one of the coolest experiences to have, what with being surrounded by pristine white sands, cool winter nights, scrumptious food, melodious folk music, and traditional dance keeping you company as you trek your way through the Rann of Kutch.  

Surrounded by the Arabian Sea, Kutch is the last Indian territory towards the west, with numerous crafts, traditions and cultures that one can explore and take back home. 

Wondering what to expect? Well, exploring the desert is on top of the list, followed by riding camels, accommodation in Kutchi-styled homestays called 'Bhunga', enjoying soul-stirring folk music and getting to indulge in local delicacies.

The price per person for this one-of-a-kind trip is INR 8,000, which includes accommodation in Bhungas, traveling to & fro from Bhuj, sightseeing at Mandavi beach, Aina Mahal, Kala Dongar, Prag Mahal and Vijay Vilas Palace, entry fees, parking & toll charges and guide expertise. Meals included are breakfast lunch and dinner on the first day and just breakfast & lunch on Day 2. 

Keep in mind that you will have to arrange for transportation from Mumbai to Bhuj and back. Also, activities and performances are not included in the payment.

Don't forget to carry enough water, good shoes, personal medicines, snacks and mosquito repellents. Also, it's not very easy finding ATMs in the Rann, so carry enough cash on you. Have a great trip, full of happy memories!
