This Saturday, put on your creative pants (and possibly also your oldest pair!) and head to Creeda Boardgame Cafe for a fun sesh on screen printing organised by Hobby In a Box.
What exactly is screen printing? Screen printing is a printing technique that uses a mesh and a stencil to create patterns with colour or ink onto a second surface of your choice like textile or canvas. It's used in a variety of ways and is very versatile, so that once you learn the basics, the creative applications are virtually limitless.
What will you learn at this workshop? Once you reach the venue, you'll be provided with all the materials you need for the workshop. They'll teach you the basic methods of screen printing and then you'll also learn how to work with both multiple colours and single colours too. You'll also learn about creating positive and negative prints.
The workshop will take over three hours, and at the end of it, you'll get to take home your creations: a screen printed tote, and a screen-printed scarf. Price includes food and beverages worth INR 300.
