The much-awaited Kala Ghoda Arts Festival is back with a promise to be bigger and better this year as it celebrates its graceful legacy of 21 years. Witness amazing and priceless art from across the country showcasing the talent of artists diverse genres.
The festival comprises of multiple workshops and events related to art, theatre, music, food, design, cinema, dance, literature, to only name a few. While the festival's whole purpose is to showcase art from all over the country, this year they will do it with a tinge of nostalgia.
What To Expect: Approximately 500 programs across 14 verticals. Book launches, theatre performances, shopping stalls (salary's in by then, so go shop), dance performances, heritage walks, lots of food, stand-up comedy, panel discussions and talks.
Date: February 1st - February 9th, 2020
Venue: While the main installation takes place at Kala Ghoda, multiple events and workshops are spread across South Mumbai. Here are a iconic ones: Flora Fountain, Kitab Khana, Cross Maidan, Mahatama Gandhi Road, Asiatic Library, National Gallery Of Modern Art, Irish House, David Sassoon Library to name a few.
