Panjim has awesome seafood restaurants and one of those is Kokni Kanteen, an immensely popular eatery amongst the locals these days. It surely has the ultimate fish thali and is a tough competitor for Ritz Classic’s thali next door. Each dish has a distinct taste and flavour. From the Kokum saar to the Surmai rawa fry to the mussels stir fry - a sure shot path to heaven. The menu is well curated, the mocktails are delicious, and they have a cute bar at the entrance for all looking for booze with their food. The service is excellent and totally worth the wait for a seat.

What Could Be Better?
They should expand. Even though the ambience and the seating are nicely planned, considering the number of people who come for lunch on a weekday {not even talking about a weekend}, they should definitely get more space.
What's My Pro Tip?
They serve a special thali on Sundays which has more dishes and prawn fry and prawn curry for INR 265. Can you believe it? I can’t wait to go back to Goa and eat there on a weekend. Oh, and don't forget to try their traditional Seradura dessert. It's so good that you'll want to order more.
Anything Else?
Love their melon cooler and kokum sherbet. Try to go early, 1:30 pm onwards there is a long queue. Also, thalis are available only for lunch.
