Start The New Year With Some Camping At Mollem National Park In Goa

So Mollem National Park is like a smorgasbord of wildlife, flora, fauna and completely off the grid. And the good folks at Khoj-Aao have organized this fun trip for all of you that want to spend New Years in the forest. Build a campfire, pitch a tent, gaze at the stars are just some of the things on offer here. Not to mention that it is a full moon night on the 31^st, so you could be bringing in 2018 under the first full moon of the year. The plan is to leave around 3pm on the 31^st of December and get back on New Years day by late morning. But if you think that is too short a time and want to explore some more, they even offer you the option of staying another night, visiting a local village and a waterfall trek for an additional fee. So pitch that tent, and start your New Year with a sunrise over the majestic Western Ghats and with those cheery chirping birds. Bundle up as it will be really chilly, but for the more adventurous ones there will also be nature trails or you could even take a dip in the cold waters of the multitude of streams that you will find in this beautiful forest. Either way, it is a great way to take your kids and friends to spend New Years Eve.
