Starbucks is all set to make its way to the City of Joy, the sixth Indian city it will conquer. Don’t get your panties in a bunch just yet though, we have to wait a bit. The first outlet is scheduled to open not before 2018 but it’s going to be worth the wait.

3 outlets are in the works with a flagship outlet on Park Street and the 2 others in malls in South Kolkata {sorry, Salt Lake!}.

Besides the fact that our Instagram account will finally look as lit as residents of the other cities, Starbucks also has some of the best coffee brewed in the world. We’ll also finally get to try all the insane flavours we never have enough time to try when we’re on holiday – Hazelnut Lattes, White Chocolate Mochas and ALL the frappuccinos. A cup of coffee will set you back approximately INR 150. They also have a selection of indulgent desserts and loaded sandwiches which go perfectly with a cuppa.

Starbucks noobs, don’t let all the hundreds of options confuse you: soya, non-fat or regular milk; tall, grande or venti; extra espresso shot yay or nay? Once you ace your order, little can bring more joy than Starbuck can.
