Shutterbugs, Meet Fellow Photographers At This New Photography Club

Shortcut

Uber cool city group, Chaitown Creatives, is starting their very own photography club and if you want to be part of a photographers’ squad, you need to sign up.

Through The Lens

Want to do something new this year? Pick up a new hobby, perhaps? Are you a photographer looking for someone to learn from, vent to and vibe with? The Chaitown Photography Club is what you need to sign up for. The club is open to anyone — pros to beginners, experienced to budding photographers. If you love to look at life from behind the lens, you’ll find a bunch of people who are exactly like you.

Learn, discuss, chill, work on projects together, share stories, {and of course, click away} it’s all going to happen here. Plus, you’ll get a chance to meet some of the city’s best {and coolest} photographers. The first meeting is on January 20th. They plan to meet bi-weekly {so you can sign up even if you don’t have too much time to give, it doesn’t require 100% commitment}. Every week, they will be covering specific topics and working on different projects together.

They will occasionally get guest photography professionals who will join in for Q&A sessions — some from India and even a few travel photographers from abroad.

Anything Else?

Chaitown Creatives host a bunch of extremely interesting, cool and offbeat events around the city. They’re all about bringing creative minds together and giving them opportunities to showcase their skills. Keep yourself in the loop via their Facebook page. You can also get all the deetz on their photography club at this event page.

You will need an actual camera to join the club {sorry, phone cameras are not going to cut it this time!}. You can register by calling or messaging the Chaitown number at +91 9051234019.

When: Starting January 20.

Where: The first meeting will take place at Rabindra Sarobar {the Lakes} by the AMRI Fire Victims Memorial.

Time: 11 am to 1 pm.
