This Weekend, Unwind With An Evening Of Sufi Music At Artsy Cafe

What Is It?

Sufi music has always been relaxing, but unfortunately Kolkata doesn’t have Sufi events too often. Now one of the newest cafes in the city, Artsy, is hosting Reflecting Traditions, a Sufi evening inherently filled with influences from traditional raga music.

Who Is It For?

Music lovers, of course. Here is some interesting trivia on the band members — Ratul Shankar is a world-renowned percussionist of Coke Studio fame, Someshwar Bhattacharya plays with ‘Mohin ekhon Bondhura’ and in innumerable projects and bands. and vocalist Sukanya Bhattacharya explores jazz, blues and other genres through various national and international collaborations.

Why Should I Go?

Because you can lighten up your Saturday mood with an evening filled with soulful music.
