Sufi music has always been relaxing, but unfortunately Kolkata doesn’t have Sufi events too often. Now one of the newest cafes in the city, Artsy, is hosting Reflecting Traditions, a Sufi evening inherently filled with influences from traditional raga music.

Here is some interesting trivia on the band members — Ratul Shankar is a world-renowned percussionist of Coke Studio fame, Someshwar Bhattacharya plays with ‘Mohin ekhon Bondhura’ and in innumerable projects and bands. and vocalist Sukanya Bhattacharya explores jazz, blues and other genres through various national and international collaborations.
