Home to some of the tallest skyscrapers, a hub for decor and furniture showrooms, and one of the liveliest spots for nightlife, Lower Parel is one neighbourhood that seamlessly brings together this city's commercial and entertainment aspects together. While the Phoenix Mall in itself envelopes the vibe of Lower Parel, there's a lot more to do in this vibrant hood than just visiting this luxe mall.

So, we hit the streets and found some really good decor stores, huge furniture showrooms, eateries, and lots more. 

The main street is 15 minutes walk away from the Lower Parel station. It's very much accessible from the Mahalaxmi station as well.

Baaya: For Traditional Decor Accents

Sitting right outside the Raghuvanshi Mills, is this contemporary decor store that offers an array of home accessories and furniture options. Every piece in their store seamlessly marries traditional art with a functional aspect making it ideal for every Indian household.  

The White Teak Company: For Luxury Lighting

Sleek metal, all things shiny and glamourous, and with a soft golden glow - if you're looking for a luxury statement lighting solution for your home, this showroom beside the busy Lower Parel street is worth a visit. Pepperfry: For All Your Furniture Needs

This online furniture giant needs no introduction! You can head to offline space to get a first-hand experience of the furniture you'll be buying online, to understand the basic look and feel or get some expert assistance from their staff. It's a one storey studio that showcases their beds, dining tables, seating, furnishing etc.  

Oma Living: For Luxury Home Solutions

It's here where modern minimalism meets timeless elegance. Oma Living's store in Lower Parel screams all things luxury, ultimate sophistication, and showcases a collection that's sure to transform your home into a 5-star hotel. Nestled inside the corner of Raghuvanshi Mills, is this paradise for ceramic lovers!    

Specialising in unique, offbeat (and expensive) serve ware, Ware Innovations is offering a range of hand-made ceramic and marble cutlery. Their table spreads that come with a magical touch of contemporary art is worth investing in if you're someone who loves hosting parties and dinners at home.

A designer fashion house, Jaipur-based Sonali Jain brings the city's vibrancy and colours lively into her Indian wear and classy ethnic couture to the heart of Mumbai city. Spice Klub: For Fun Plating

Spice Klub was kinda a craze when they had launched for their super fun take on the plating of daily street side dishes. Remember those test tube pani-puri or that edible plastic? And they yet continue to ace their plating game and serve lip-smacking North Indian delicacies.    

GhupShup: For An Array Of Cuisine

You'll spot this one through its funky wall art! Known for redefining food, they offer a variety of cuisine under one roof. From Mexican to South Indian and from Italian and Lebanese to North Indian - they've got it all.

Firki is a nice place to head to if you're looking for a wholesome meal with your family. They offer authentic Gujarati, Rajasthani and Maharashtrian dishes. You can order in for Dal Dhokli, Thalipeeth pitla, sev puri tacos, moong dal chila and more. Oh, and they've got wholesome thalis as well - Gujarati and North Indian.
