It's just fascinating sometimes, how we end up having the best experiences in the least expected places...
Located in one of the most popular areas of the city - FC road, this place has really impressed me with its beautifully painted walls, showing the way Pune changed in due course of time, its unique cocktails and the super amusing way they serve it. So let me get straight to what I tried here and how I liked it.
Drinks:
Puneri punch-
Dark rum, lemon juice grenadine, pineapple juice soda
Oh my what a challenge that was, to be able to drink this particular one, with spilling (psst... dropped enough on myself - Check out the picture for this twisted drink and you get 10% discount if you finish it without spilling😉).
Arouser-
Whiskey, creme de banana, mango juice, pineapple juice, lime juice
This one is my favourite here. It isn't served in the fancy way as the others but is one of the best. Creme de banana in it may sound a little misleading but the concoction is perfectly blended with whiskey.
The big chilli-
Dark rum, pineapple juice, orange juice, crangerry juice, coconut cream
Literally served in TEST TUBES. It is fun, colourful and very very smooth.
Konitari yenar ga-
Tequila, strawberry crush, Bailey's cream.
Sweet, smooth, and like all the ingredients in it, good to look at and a different take to your regular tequila shots.
And the food, oh my my, no matter how high I rate it, it's just not going to be enough. Each dish, extremely delicious, extremely scrumptious.
Food:
Paneer Kesari malai tikka - Creamy, rich , mild and great if you like a little sweetness in your food.
Pahadi chicken kebab - Great option to try for someone who like spicy food. Tender chicken kebabs cooked in green spicy sauce.
Paprika prawns - Coming soon on the menu. Amazingly served, perfectly cooked, bite sized prawns, my advice - get the whole prawn in one bite and enjoy the flavour of Paprika burst.
Murg kala masala - Mildly spiced, goes well with Garlic Naan.
Pizza ardhawatrao - Now you do not have to order two separate pizzas for vegetarians & Non- vegetarian. This pizza sorts you both out 🤣.
Sizzling brownie with vanilla icecream - Comes with a walnut Brownie 🤤 .
