Bowled Over
While the MeKong Bowl food truck drives to Gurgaon’s localities on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, you can enjoy their Pan-Asian offerings all week long by ordering in. The food truck gives customers a sneak-peek of the food with a smaller menu, but you can choose from curries, dim sums, soups and noodle bowls from their delivery outlet.
Run by a husband-wife duo, Me Kong Bowl wins big on three counts – speedy delivery, well-balanced flavours and lots of options.
Curry Me Home
The Grilled Chicken Dim Sums are absolutely delicious – a welcome change to the street-style momos we’ve come to expect from take-away joints – and we gobbled them all up quite quickly. We also enjoyed the Thai-inspired Pocket Fish that’s light, slightly spicy and yummy.
However, the star of this Pan-Asian meal was {to this meat-eating writer’s surprise} the Seared Tofu & Green Beans in a rich, sweet, Asian coconut sauce with rice noodles. If you like your noodles ‘hakka’ not ‘rice’, may we suggest trying their newly-launched Korean Stir-fry with Hakka Noodles? Loaded with chicken, pok choi and peppers, this can be a meal all on its own.
So, We're Saying...
Make sure you keep your eyes open for the Me Kong Bowl food truck as well.
