You look away for a few seconds, and *poof* pops open a new restaurant in Mumbai. Somehow, despite being called the maximum city, Mumbai finds a place to accommodate a new eatery, bar, or bakery that offers the city something worth biting into.

As usual, new restaurants have opened up in Mumbai. So, here's what you should be checking out!

Dobaraa India - All Day Pub, Palladium Mall, Lower Parel

A casual all-day pub, Dobaraa has a vibe where you can sit fit friends all-day to catch up over a few drinks. It's also a great space for that first date you're super nervous about. The setting mostly features neutrals and lots of green, but mostly don't miss the lovely tiles on the floor. Lots of nibbles and salads feature on the menu, and there are ample sharable options, making this space apt for a group.

Cuisine: Continental Fast Food

Dishes To Order:  Red Snapper Ceviche, Dobaraa Famous Wings, Pulled Lamb Poutine, Sour Dough Sammies, Bacon & Chorizo Pizza, Cheese Borek

Shell Out: INR 1,700 for two with alcohol

Look Out For: A space that offers something for everyone and is a great spot to grab a quick drink and a bite. The menu refreshingly features pub fare, offering lots of fresh salads, sammies, and sliders that are easy to grab.

Badmaash, Andheri West

We love it when a new place opens up that promises a great night! Badmaash is a bougie resto-bar that's been getting a lotta love from the who's who of Bollywood. Promising Indian food that's somehow "naughty", we expect that they serve up a variation of fusion Indian food to go with their cocktails. Badmaash offers a Bollywood-inspired menu and vibe that's "uppity"—sounds fun for a celebratory dinner, or a boozy brunch with the homies, no?

Cuisine: Indian

Dishes To Order: Birds' Eye Chilli and Crispy Avo Bhel, Togarashi Butter Garlic Lobster, Keema Par Eedu

Shell Out: INR 1800 for two

Look Out For: Great food, fun cocktails and music you can sing along to!

Cu:Ba Bar & Kitchen, BKC

A brand new space to let your hair down, enjoy some comfort food and dance the night away, Cu:Ba promises great ales, and great beats. Cu:Ba also has a nice atmosphere, with all of the lights, artisanal drinks and yummy food. This one's a great bet when you want to unwind a bit after work, especially if you work in BKC.

Cuisine: Continental, Pan-Asian, Comfort Food

Dishes To Order:  Sri Lankan Sambal Rice, Glazed Ravioli, Cu:Ba Sour and Kokum Fizz

Shell Out: INR 2,000

Look Out For: Friday nights and Saturday nights for Bollywood music!

Butterfly High, Lower Parel

BKC's Butterfly High has opened up a new outpost in Lower Parel. It's got a lovely indoor-outdoor ambience that's amazing for a midweek lunch date, but also just right for girls' night on Friday. Butterfly High boasts of fusion-style Indian food that's known for reinvented favourites like Cheesy Poutine Masala Fries, the Paneer Balchao Bruschetta, and the Tawa Fry Rawas with a Tequila Glaze! Another thing about their menu to watch out for is the representation of Maharashtrian cuisine—elevated, but still respectful of those classic flavours.

Cuisine: Modern Indian

Dishes To Order:  Tomato Curry Leaf Rasam, Mini Blue Cheese Kulcha, Amritsari Fish with Jarda Taco

Shell Out: INR 1,900 for two with alcohol

Look Out For: The Maharashtrian fare, the potent cocktails and the experimental food!

SAQI, Khar

SAQI seeks to bring luxury dining to Khar, serving up Modern Indian food. We love the fancy bohemian decor, and their cocktail menu, which definitely piqued our curiosity. Baby Butter Chicken Tartlets, Amritsari Fish N Chips, and the super exciting Old Monk Dal Makhani. SAQI's a nice spot for brunch on the weekend, but they're also a nice spot for a night of dancing! Head here for dancing to Bollywood bops on Saturday nights.

Cuisine: Modern Indian

Dishes To Order:  Patti Malai Paalak Samosa, Crunchy Rhubarb Yogurt, Paturi Chenna

Shell Out: INR 1,900 for two with alcohol

Look Out For: The day to night ambiance, the wholesome fare
