For those of you (and us) who can't keep away from snacks, AkiMi Gourmet has plenty of little treats to offer. Founded by Midhila Raavi and Akila Vanakalapati, one can say this brand is a fine amalgamation of two kitchens. Midhila works out of Hyderabad and Akila, from Chennai. Beautifully packed in a cardboard box (that can be reused), AkiMi's goodies arrive like a gift box. Three things that you must devour: Strawberry Cake (it's a cheat bite), Dark Chocolate & Peanut Butter Bites, and Coco Pistachio Bites. While they've got brownies under cheat bites, their vegan brownies are healthy and will sort your chocolate craving too.
All these desserts are made from fresh ingredients, and since they're preservative-free, the shelf-life is limited. But they've got smoothies and granola (a better version of granola that's loaded with seeds and walnut) that make for a wholesome brekkie. Plus, they've got postpartum snacks, which aren't offered by many brands out there. All the treats are made to order, so you know something special is whipped for you only after an order is placed.
Midhila and Akila, together, experiment with recipes and keep jazzing up their existing menu with new treats, every now and then. Which means you're in for not just healthy food but also a variety — super important, isn't it? These treats work as great gift boxes for parties, giveaways, or corporate events too.
