So You Have A French Press? Brew Awesome With These Coffees

In Kannada, Bili Hu means a white flower that signifies the bloom during the harvest season. Regarded as every coffee fanatic's favourite coffee — once you try Bili Hu's Monsooned Malabar, there's no going back. What we love about this coffee is its earthy flavour because it absorbs the moisture from the coastal winds during the monsoon season — hence the name. This is a full-bodied smooth coffee that goes well with salads and pasta. 

Vienna Roast from Blue Tokai is the coffee you'd love to wake up to. We got a thing for slightly bitter coffee and this dark roast fits the bill. This Chikmagalur coffee gives an oaky aftertaste and you can opt for their French Press grind. Just make sure you don't brew the coffee for over four to five minutes, as it can get too bitter to handle. 

Savorworks Roasters is probably one of the wickedest coffees we've tried. Known for its specialty coffee and coffee beans that can be tracked to the one who has harvested them — you've got to get a whiff of it. Our pick has to be their Riverdale Estate Coffee which has notes of dark chocolate, plum, and maple syrup. Very bittersweet and perfect for your monsoon evenings. 

Easily the best from Araku Coffee, their Grand Reserve is worth trying out. With its citrusy and floral notes, this brew is fresh and refreshing. We find this coffee quite smooth and full-bodied. Made from 100 per cent Arabica, this coffee scores high on great packaging too.
