Fat Pigeon, Bar Hopping under one Roof!
Fat pigeon- Bar Hop is such a massive place. They bring the system of bar-hopping under one roof. Since there are so many sections, like a bar, rooftop dining, semi rooftop with lower seats and a screen, a section next to the open kitchen, and outdoor seating for two's.
I visited this place on a weekday and still it was almost full, with that it can be assumed totally how packed it is on weekends. The ambience is quirky and attractive. Fat pigeon is one of the most happening places in Hyderabad. The walls have graffiti art, Instagramable to the point.
The lights are enchanting too. The ambience is heart-stealing.
Came here to check out their new food menu. Started with the Tri Mushroom Veg Soup and Hot and Sour Chicken Soup. The mushroom soup was very appetizing and delicious. Also tried their Summer Salad and organic non-veg salad. Liked the ingredients in it and it was very refreshing.
Among the veg, starters had jalapeno cheese poppers, spinach and cheese parcel and Dili wali Chaat. These veg starters were very impressive. Especially spinach and cheese parcel and Dili wali chaat are worth trying.
Among the non-veg starters had the ansari machi, Kodi Wada, crispy chicken tenders and fat chicken wings in Chipotle sauce. Crispy chicken tenders and wings are worth a try. Recommend this. Had naan pizza too. It was decent but not that great. Could be improved. Tandoori butter chicken wrapico was good and can be tried out.
The Main course here is desirable and worthy. I tried out pan stirred tilapia with Gongura sauce. It was great, especially the presentation.
Next up tried the homemade fettuccini. This dish was really good. Main course veg had Kung pao bowl and clay pot veg pulao. Presentation-wise these were good and the taste was decent too. Nali ghost thali was awesome. This comes with dal, rice, naan, nali ghost, pickle and salad.
This is most recommended and is worth it, a whole meal in one.
In desserts had the Rava Kesari Tart, Zuccotto and Millie-Feullie.
Among this Rava Kesari tart was the best. The Millie Feuille just looked impressive but didn't taste that great. It can be improved. In drinks, cocktails, I recommend "punch in the face" and "Caribbean cruise". The Alcohol content in the cocktails was very good, not much diluted.
The overall experience of Fat Pigeon was surreal, already a happening place in Hyderabad, with this new food menu is gonna be on a roll. Best for dinner dates, parties and hangouts. The staff was active and polite and served the food in a jiffy. Loved the experience.
Would be visiting again soon.
