Watch Naseeruddin Shah & Ratna Pathak Come Together For A New Play At Prithvi Theatre

Watch Naseeruddin Shah’s Motley Crew put on a brilliant show every night from now till the December 17 at the Prithvi Theatre. The play being staged is called The Father, an adaptation of the original French play which was first produced in 2012 by Florian Zeller. .

The play explores the story of a man suffering from Alzheimer’s disease, and its effect on the person suffering and those around him. It is, as per the accounts of those who watched its show earlier this year at the NCPA, intense, wry and in some parts, even humorous.

Theatre enthusiasts, or even just fans of the actor Naseeruddin Shah who would like to see his work on stage. If you have an interest in watching how mental illness realistically interplays with one’s personal life, the play is a wonderful insight into that.

The play, in its first round got excellent reviews, and the cast is undeniably talented. Plus, we always look forward to tightly woven plots staged by the Motley Crew. Also, *spoiler alert* but we hear that there’s an unexpected slap that will take place in the play.
