Joy To The World: A Guide To Glorious Midnight Masses On Christmas Eve

Several thousands of people come together on the 24^th of December at 11pm at the St. Patrick’s school grounds followed by a midnight mass at 12am. The premises are also beautifully decorated with a crib and manger. Christmas Services are held at the Cathedral at 6:30am, 7:30am, 8:30am and 10am.

The festivities at these churches start at 10:00pm on the 24^th of December with Christmas Carols. This is followed by a midnight mass at 10:30pm. The best part is, the first part takes place in Marathi.

Formerly known as the “Mother church of the Deccan” built in 1825 is the Oldest church in Pune and this should definitely add to the feels of the 24^th December midnight mass.

The midnight masses at this church begin’s at 11:30pm on 24^th December and the Chritsmas Day mass happens at 8:15am on 25^th December.

The midnight mass beings at 11pm on the 24^th of December with Carol Singing in Tamil and English. The Christmas Day mass happens at 7am{English}, 8:15am{Tamil}, and 9:30am{English}.
