Beauty And Wellness Spa Adara Is Now Open In Gurgaon

Shortcut

Done up in pristine white, Adara offers complete beauty and wellness treatments to rejuvenate the exhausted 9-5er in you.

Beautiful, Inside And Out

Located right opposite DT Mega Mall, Adara is easy to spot. Started by husband-wife duo, Inder Kaur and Abhishek Bansali, the spa is a labour of love . In Greek, ‘adara’ means beautiful, and they do everything they can so that you walk out looking, and feeling, like a million bucks.

Conceptualised as a one-stop-shop, Adara has an extensive menu of treatments to choose from. From the frustratingly regular waxing appointments we need to make, to a one-off beauty splurge, they can accommodate it all.

Knot Your Average Spa

A spa is only as good as its deep tissue massage and, on that front, Adara doesn’t disappoint. After 60 minutes of tough love and knot-vanquishing, I lay in the gorgeous, sweet-smelling room and savoured the after-glow. Remember to ask for Augistina, she’s a certified pro and can handle any aches or pains you might have.

Get That Glow

The next thing on my wellness agenda at Adara was a Melafadin skin brightening facial that promises lots of fresh-faced glory. It’s an elaborate process and takes close to 45 minutes, so make sure you put all work calls on hold for the afternoon.

As Augistina worked a powder-based enzyme cleanser into my skin, she guaranteed that it would kickstart the de-pigmentation process. This was followed by two phases that were meant to reduce melanin synthesis. I politely nodded along, as this began to sound more and more like a complicated experiment and I was never very good at science, anyway. I was just in it for the glow.

When the pack was finally lifted off of my face and I cautiously peered into the mirror, I wasn’t disappointed. The glow was very real and, for the first time in my life, I slathered on sunscreen, for fear of losing it.

So, We’re Thinking…

That Adara isn’t just great for massages or a mani-pedi; they do it all and they do it well. Appointments are preferred, so make sure you call before.
