AIB First Draft: A Screenwriting Workshop on Plotting

What's Happening

This weekend, AIB First Draft is back in Delhi for a story building and screen writing workshop on plotting. This workshop will be conducted by National Award-winning filmmaker, writer, and professor of cinema - Satyanshu Singh. Just FYI, his poems have been featured in the movie Udaan, his lyrics in Sulemani Keeda and Ferrari ki Sawawri, and Mr. Singh has also designed screen-writing courses at Anupam Kher's 'Actor Prepares'. So, know that you'll be learning the art from the maestro himself. 

Coming to the topics this workshop will cover: The features of a good plot, fundamental concepts behind structuring your film, tips and exercises to crack the frustrating second act, and how to make your protagonist's journey dramatic and emotionally fulfilling are some of the many things you'll learn this weekend. 

How's The Venue

The venue for the event is Antisocial in Hauz Khas village. The closest metro station to the venue is Hauz Khas on yellow and magenta line.

Pro-Tip

There will also be a Q & A session on the life and profession of a screenwriter and the craft of screenwriting, so, make sure to keep your questions ready. Also, we recommend that you reach at least 15 mins before the event starts and do carry a valid ID proof with you.
