Confluence is an exhibition by artist Harleen Kaur that has been inspired by her journeys over the past year or so. The strongest role in this exploration has been that of her trip to Amritsar in January of 2019. Visits to the Partition Museum, her ancestral home, and the Golden Temple have brought about a sense of nostalgia and also those of ‘belonging’ in her artworks, particularly in her work 'Undivided' (a creative representation on pre-partition Punjab). Other facets of the collection are memories of travels to Harleen's childhood home in the hills of Kasauli.
Those of you who love art (especially the kind that uses textures and layers that are not immediately obvious) should definitely drop by for this event.
