Upgrade Your Beauty Routine With These Cruelty-Free Products

This women-run brand creates skincare and haircare products that are cruelty-free, organic and inspired by everything we love in nature. If you have oily skin or even acne, try the papaya gel that will nourish and rejuvenate your skin and make it soft and supple.

You're all probably familiar with this brand by now, but did you know that it's also cruelty-free? One of my favourite skincare products is the rosehip and retinoid power emulsion, which is a serum that helps rejuvenate the skin and makes it feel fresh and supple again. It helps to reduce pigmentation and is especially made for Indian skin.

Night time skincare routines are always important and are usually never taken too seriously. One of the products that I've used is Conscious Chemist's reboot night treatment serum, that is detoxifying and helps repair the skin while we sleep. It's been 18 days and so far, it's been a great experience!

This cold-pressed hemp seed oil is green in colour because of the presence of chlorophyll. It is a light-weight oil and has a nutty smell. This oil will help moisturise the skin and leave it soft, so it's a great addition to your skincare routine.

This is a great smelling oil that has a serum-like texture but is purely plant-based and helps clean the pores thoroughly. It's a clarifying oil that helps tighten the pores as well, leaving the skin nourished. It is said that it can be used to help with acne as well.

Ilana is probably one of my favourite brands, since I've been using their products for over a year now. I've used this clarifying serum that is really helped me since I have sensitive skin. I've used a few drops daily and I did notice a difference in my skin texture; it's a lot more supple and soft. Check it out if you're looking for a homegrown alternative.
