Social In A Chawl

Inspired by, but not limited to, Mumbai’s chawls, Gurgaon’s Social transports you to a different era.

Think 1950s Bombay but with lots and lots of pizzazz. Walk through the hallway with work space rooms, designed like a bedroom, a bathroom or a dining hall, on either side.

This leads you to the common courtyard-like area, with high and low seating. Metal stairs lead up to private seating booths {there are four in total}, carrom boards make for interesting table tops, and the ceilings are adorned with bare bulbs and colourful flags. A celebration in a chawl would look something like this, we’re told.

We’re ready.

What's On The Menu?

If you’re looking for familiar flavours {and the comfort of their L.L.I.I.T} at Social, we have good news for you. The menu retains many of their signature offerings, in addition to lots of new Bombay-inspired dishes.

Instead of a bread basket, you can opt for a papad platter that is served with tangy tomato chutney.

Try their selection of pakoras, they pair well with the Spicy Vodka Lemonade or the Kala Khatta. The BBQ Chicken Poutine was over too soon, and the Prawn Chettinad kept us coming back for another bite.

So We're Thinking...

That the balcony at Delhi-NCR’s fifth Social makes for a great viewing deck, with views of Cyber Hub and Gurgaon’s evening sky. Get a drink and go offline, as you rejoice the end of a work day or week.
