What's Happening

Dilli Haat is back with the 35th edition of its Dastkari Haat Crafts Bazaar. It’s a 15-day event that provides a platform for local artisans to display and sell their handicrafts. This bazaar will celebrate Indian art, craft, textiles, and handloom, and will have over 170 artisans and craftsmen from all over India displaying their products. You can shop for hand-crafted products like handloom fabrics, shawls, ajrakh block printing, kantha embroidery, chanderis and pashminas, furniture, carpets, dhurries, home decor products, organic products, and more. Some special crafts this time around are Yali-Kodiyala Sarees, paintings based on Covid-19, shell and wood from West Bengal, miniature emboss paintings from Rajasthan and lots more.

Dastkari Haat will also have a special exhibition by 15 craftspersons who worked on 10 new sari designs during the pandemic each. So, be sure to find natural block prints, dyeing, weaving, batik, shibori and tons of other stunning prints. Apart from that, there will also be a launch of the book named, "The Craft Skills Of India" which showcases over 100 styles and techniques with respect to the textile industry in the country.

Head to this two-week long event to support local artisans of the country who seldom get the chance to display their artwork at a place that gets footfall as much as Dilli Haat.

Make A Note

Everything at the Dastkari Haat Crafts Bazaar, from the decor available to the cultural performances and publicity, is completely self-funded by these artisans together. Support their cause by buying crafts, textiles, artwork, etc. from the bazaar.
