Le Cantine in DLF Promenade is just the kind of place you'd go to for a Sunday 'hangover lunch' (where you'll most likely start drinking again).
We ordered a few of their dishes — based primarily on a mix of how nice they sounded and our love for meat and cheese (pfft, obviously, right?). We started off with a couple of drinks, the Catine Margherita which was fruity yet a bit sour and Lavender Bloom, a sweet cocktail you could orders seconds of (yes, this was our favourite).
First dish on the table was a serving of chilli and butter garlic prawns which were as good as a satisfactory plate full of prawns can be. We then had the sweet and spicy Chipotle chicken wings (which we were served with blue cheese), followed by bacon and sausage pull apart focaccia bread — a cheesy delight we could not take our forks off of.
We finished with the Winter Berry and Almond Croissant Ice Cream Sandwich — this one you definitely cannot miss (pro tip: using a spoon or a fork will go in vain, just hold it up and go to town on it).
All in all, a lunch spot you can really get used to — specially when you're done with shopping and are craving good European fare.
