Foodiye – a micro-blogging food platform and community, is organising a food walk next weekend that promises the best of old Delhi cuisine {think buttery naans, piping hot tikkas and the most filling faludas} and a great time with fellow foodies. What’s so different about this walk? It doesn’t have a set fee or an agenda, so you’re free to recommend more food places {than what the Foodiye peeps are planning} and can split the bill with strangers.
Enjoy Old Delhi Food & Split The Bill With Strangers On This Epic Walk
What Is It?
Who Is It For?
If you love food {the good, greasy and masala-doused kind}, can handle the crowds of old Delhi, like the idea of hanging out with a bunch of other gluttons and are willing to get up a little early on a Sunday {worth it, because food}, you’re in for a good time.
Why Should I Go For It?
Well, because food and not just any kind of food but expect Giani’s Faluda, Naan at Kake’s, Chaat at Ashok Chaat Bhandar, plus Shyam Sweets {which is also a pit-stop, amongst many more} on this epic old Delhi food walk. And isn’t the weather right now just perfect to discover the hidden gems of Chawri Bazaar, meet fellow foodies and explore the city?
Plus, the organisers of the walk have hosted more than 250 events, so you can be sure that they’ll help you explore the best of old Delhi with all its nooks and crannies; they might seem daunting to us novices, but the folks at Foodiye know ’em like the back of their hand.
