Set Yourself Free at the Second Edition of The Lost Party

The Lost Party is here with edition 2.0, and if last year's event at Lavasa was any indication, this one’s going to be a music festival of epic proportions—don't miss this.

This multi-genre festival will include, aside from established acts from India and around the world, a handpicked selection of some of the country’s freshest talents that won’t be limited to music—there’s plenty in technology, art, and design to look forward to.

Best of all, the festival will be held at the foothills of the Sahyadris, at a lakeside no less. Getting lost never looked so inviting.

The location

This three-day festival will be held at the Salter Lake at the foothills of the Sahyadris—making for that perfect musical getaway. Expect great music, art, and technology, a gorgeous camping area, community bonfires, and an exceptional crowd.

Idhar and Udhar—those are the two main stages for the festival where you’ll find all the action happening. Aside from these, there’ll be a third space called Nukkad, which will host a ‘disco in the day’ and will be converted into a ‘silent party’ zone after 10pm.

Then there’s Ghar, where you’ll find singer-songwriters setting the mood with some mellow, acoustic sounds.

The line-up

tlp1With a hope to give home-grown talent a leverage, The Lost Party is here with a curated selection of the best Indian talent across genres such as bass, electronica, contemporary, and world music.

Among the Indian bigwigs, you’ll find multi-instrumentalist Karsh Kale, lyricist Swanand Kirkire, and The Bartender {a band that reinterprets old Bollywood songs}. There are number of international acts lined up too—dEbruit {from France} known to merge global sounds with dance music, and hip-hop and Canadian duo The Funk Hunters playing funk and soul music.

Other cool stuff

There are gaming arcades, hammocks, pillow fights, and even a library where you can read in peace {if that’s what you want to do at a music festival}. And if you’re planning your trip to The Lost Party soon, we definitely suggest you check out the 3D printing and installations on site, plus some real cool stuff like aerial yoga and shadow dance painting!
