Let's just say Dilli Haat has my heart. I also feel like an idiot for paying twice the price at other places for Dhurries, but at least I've learnt. And now, at least you'll save some money. A mecca for all things local, artisanal and #makeinindia, Dilli Haat is one of the most underrated places to shop for home decor. Though their collections/vendors change all the time, 'tis the season for all things winter- and if you go to Dilli Haat right now, you'll find a plethora of local businesses selling everything from scarves to cashmere things, and my Achilles heel- these goddamn dhurries. You'll find a BUNCH of stalls selling carpets and dhurries so I'd highly recommend walking around and bargaining your ass off, looking out for the best deals. Dhurries start at INR 2-3k and go up to INR 20k at most. The trick is to bargain hard and explore your options.

What's My Pro Tip?
Please explore all of Dilli haat before locking down on a carpet. The collections are kind of similar across stalls- but prices vary drastically. The pictures taken are from the first stall to the right as soon as you enter, run by a Harish Ahmed.
