Easy, Healthy & Yummy! We Bet You Didn't Know These Overnight Oatmeal Recipes


    For all good reasons, we've moved past the daily cornflakes phase with oats being our new hero. But apart from just milk and oats, there are other ways to make oatmeal. Here are a few recipes you can make overnight. 

    How To Make The Oatmeal Base



    Chia seeds 

    Any nut butter (almond butter, peanut butter, etc) 



    Honey/Date syrup


    Take 1/2 cup oats in a bowl/jar and add 3/4th cup milk to it. Add the sweetener of your choice like honey or date syrup, or mashed banana and chill it in the fridge overnight. In the morning or after four hours, add some nut butter, cut fruits, and top it off with some seeds. Oatmeal is a versatile dish, so feel free to mix up with flavours. 

    Now let's move on to variations. 

    Chocolate Overnight Oats

    Additional ingredients: 

    Cocoa powder


    Shredded coconut 


    The only variation here is along with oats, milk, and a sweetener of your choice, you will also add cocoa powder according to how chocolatey you want your oatmeal to be and cut of almond pieces. You can also roast the almonds. Chill it in the fridge overnight and top it off with shredded coconut and seeds. 

    Apple Cinnamon Oats

    Additional Ingredients: 

    Chopped apples

    Cinnamon powder


    Add chopped apple chunks to the oatmeal base and generously sprinkle some cinnamon powder. 

    Carrot Cake Oats

    Additional Ingredients: 

    Chopped Carrots

    Pureed carrots

    fresh cream 


    Run the carrots in a food processor and add it to the oatmeal base along with finely chopped carrots and fresh cream.
