Following the phenomenal success of their Kankurgachi location, UNO Pizzeria And Grill has opened a new space in City Center 2. This new location promises to deliver the same high-end dining experience that Kolkata residents have come to expect from UNO since they first introduced the city to the renowned Chicago Deep Dish Pizza recipe in 2018.
The space honours Kolkata with photographs hung on its brick walls that capture the city's essence, while also paying homage to its American heritage with a few seating areas set up in the style of American diners. Its industrial ceiling welcomes you as you enter the spacious entryway, where the staff greets you warmly. The partially open kitchen in the middle of the establishment is an added bonus because it was designed to foster trust between patrons and kitchen staff, who have strictly adhered to the original Chicago deep-dish pizza recipe to this day.
The Chicago Deep Dish Pizza, which is layered with cheese and has a magical recipe that makes it a one-of-a-kind pizza in Kolkata, and remains the menu's star dish. However, in addition to American fare, the menu includes Italian and Mexican dishes, with options such as oven-baked fiery chicken drumsticks, pull-apart garlic bread, Buffalo Chicken Quesadilla, Chicago West Loop Chicken Pizza, Windy City Pizza, shrimp scampi pizza, and Grill Lemon Smoked Salmon. They also have a bar menu with beautiful signature cocktails that has something on offer for all tastes!
Aside from their signature Deep Dish pizza, their Taxi Burger, which pays homage to Kolkata, is a must-try. The massive burger is juicy and cheesy and dripping with flavour.
