And adding to the list, is a newly opened tea cafe in Kandivali that won’t just grab your attention with its name, but also with what it has on the menu for you. Started by Dhaval Jeetendra Vyas, this unique cafe in the heart of Kandivali has taken the experience of sipping on some chai to another level. An ardent fan of cricket (hence the name Tea-20) and Chai, he tells us that ever since he launched the cafe and brand, the best selling beverage has been the Butterscotch tea. Who knew that Butterscotch could be a thing in Chai too! But hold on, there’s more for you. If you’re a lover of trying new things, go for the Paan or the Chocolate Chai. Or maybe their Kesar, Rose, and Mint tea. They’ve preserved the more common flavours like Elaichi, Adrak, and the popular Masala Chai too. So if you’re not too sure about experimenting, stick to the classics. And guess what the best part is? All the tea flavours are priced between INR 10 and 20. They’re delicious, and super-duper pocket-friendly. What else does one need?
Every variety of tea here is served in a Kulhad. The owner wanted to give its brainchild a modern touch with the different flavours, but also preserve the traditional way of having chai in a Kulhad. Moreover, it only adds to the taste of your chai (and looks Instagrammy too) Now we’re not sure if you do, but your Chai definitely needs some company. So you could order from their extensive snack menu of garlic breads, burgers, sandwiches, french fries, and Maggi (we love the peri-peri Maggi) that are all priced between INR 80 and 150. And worry not, if you’re not a tea-lover. Simply grab a cup of their chocolate, hot or cold coffee. Or maybe call for a tall glass of Oreo or Ferrero Rocher shake.
