What Is It?

The Boiler Room is a webcast concert series which hosts underground music and is broadcast to millions across the globe. Now, for the first time ever, the webcast will be broadcast from Mumbai, with their event planned for December 1.

Who Is It For?

For those who are tired of hearing the same old music. The Boiler Room showcases some of the best artists across genres, including but not limited to electronic, hip-hop, jazz and contemporary classical.

The Mumbai edition {which is invite-only, but can be seen online} includes sets by British producer Actress, Mumbai-based producer Sandunes, Bengaluru producer _RHL aka Rahul Giri and music producer Oceantied aka Ketan Bahirat.

The gig is happening as part of the Budweiser x Boiler Room What’s Brewing, a 12-part global event series that seeks to tell the story of music scenes around the globe, which was launched with a showcase in Brussels in August this year. India is the second instalment in the series.

Why Should I Go?

You should go {virtually, unless you're lucky enough to get an invite} because The Boiler Room is a very unique concert video to watch. The DJ always play with their back to the crowd, and in front of a camera. And that also leads to some hilarious comments on the video.

Anything Else?

.Check out their YouTube channel here to see what the fuss is all about, and log in on December 1 to see Indian talent make its mark.

I love food, Bombay and people who do amazing things just for the sake of doing them.
