All those times when you have gone to Cubbon Park and wished you had brought your cycle or even had a cycle to ride around the massive space will soon be over. According to a report by The Hindu, we hear that the Tourism Department along with the Horticulture Department is launching a two-month trial basis where they will bring a bicycles-on-rent system. With the dates not confirmed yet, this is still a good news, because cycling around one of the city’s biggest green spaces is something worth enjoying. And quite exercising as well.
The rent model would be a free as well as a paid model on an hourly basis. Along with the rental model, the authorities are also planning to develop the Cubbon Park circuit dedicated to cyclists. They plan to extend this to Lalbagh as well.
