Shortcut

Touted as the biggest brewery in Bangalore, Hoot nails open air, rustic, poolside ambience, a selection of craft beer Bonus includes an eclectic menu and good music along with an in-house gaming zone.

A Hoot Out For The Ambience

A no-frills entrance leads you to a coppery, garage-like decor meets amphitheatre design. You’ve 40,000 sq. ft of space — three floors, poolside, and a glasshouse — to chill out and you can pick the one that fancies you the most. The open air poolside seating, when the weather’s perfect, is our favourite place to unwind over a pint of craft beer. The bar counter smack in the middle of the pool is reminiscent of poolside parties where there’s always a crowd sipping their Mai-Tais and whatnots. What we love about the space is that each section has a distinct ambience of its own.

Make Merry

In addition to being a brewery, these guys are launching an in-house gaming zone called Boot and it features Laser Tag, Vertigo, and football. Drinks, play, repeat? Hell yes! A check in during evenings, especially during the weekends is recommended as the in-house DJ play sick, foot-tapping, ‘get-on-the-dance-floor’ beats.

Crafty Business

Before you find your favourite craft beer, we suggest you try their mini tasters so as to narrow down your pint{s} for the night. Moving away from the craft brews, you also have a great selection beer imported directly from Belgium. Crazy, right? The mocktails and cocktails list is extensive with a few signature drinks such as The Patiala, Saffron & Sweet lime Daiquiri, Blood Orange & Mint, and Indian Inspired Street Food Martini. To us, a brewery is a place to sip a pint while munching on some starters. Mains are mostly never ordered. For the vegetarians in the group, we’d recommend the Nachos, Crispy Konjee Potatoes, Stuffed Fried Mushrooms, and Lahori Phool {baked cauliflower}. For the rest of the gang, the menu is filled with seafood, chicken, and meat options. The Pan Fry Chilli Chicken, goes rather well with our pint, Nam Prik Lamb, Herbed Juicy Lamb Chops, and Pomegranate Chicken are usually what we order. In case you want to venture out of the starter section, might we suggest the Hoot Mix Noodles and Fusli Foster Pasta? The noodles are slurp and yum-friendly while the pasta nails it with its rich creamy, cheesy texture.

So, We're Thinking...

Service might be a bit slow at times, but we don’t have a problem with that because the food and drinks are worth the wait. And plus there’s always the virtual jukebox/DJ to keep us grooving.
