The next time you want to go on a wildlife safari, you don't need to go to Jim Corbett or Gir National Park. All you need to do is drive down to these popular and equally enriching national parks and wildlife reserves that are near Bangalore. You can spot tigers, leopards, elephants, wild boars, and all sorts of birds on most trips.

Pro-tip: As the weather gets a bit warmer, wild cats such as tigers and leopards abandon the lazies and start actively looking to hunt. So late winter is actually the perfect time to go on a safari as the vegetation is still sparse and the animals are out to play, so you will actually get to spot them in action!
