The play, Kattale Belaku, was written back in 1959 by the legendary Sri Ranga. The plot follows the story of an uninspired playwright who does not wish to write anymore. In order to get him around, a producer and a manager from a theatre company suggest scenarios (with superb comic timing and strong performances) that could serve as prospective plotlines. What's surprising is that as and when these stories are told to the playwright, the same scenes take place around his house. Eventually, it becomes a question of whether lines can be drawn between story and reality, and who can draw this line.
