What Makes It Awesome

The magic at Magique lies in its two-floor space that can pretty much transform from a brunch (or drunch if you please) spot to a club. Adding flair to the magic is its tribal-themed decor—think tribal artwork, bamboo furniture, and greens—potent cocktails, and a menu that appeals to just about everybody. We dropped by on a Sunday afternoon and picked the cosy indoor seating, and it's spread out with a DJ console right at the end. We're guessing if we stayed post 8 PM, that becomes the main area for everyone to put their hands up and dance the night away. We did spot folks dressed to the T and already pre-gaming for the night ahead. The rooftop section is great in the evenings—you can truly enjoy the Bangalore weather that everyone always raves about.

The menu cherry-picks options that work for just about any crowd. Coming with a large group? Try the Panko-crusted Harissa Popcorn or the Corn & Cheese Bombs—the latter is what we tried and gets our thumbs us. The Miso Chicken Tikka was the showstopper for us. It's Japanese meets Indian flavours max. Definitely something you'd order if you're looking for something substantial to go with your drinks. You can also load up on the Za'atar Hummus in case you feel extra peckish. While we skipped the mains, we were told the Edamame Bluepea Rice is a must-try. On the drinks front, if you like your cocktails fun and strong, the Spin Over gets our vote. It's a gin-based cocktail with notes of green apple. For the designated driver, Mexican Breeze is what we recommend.

Pro-Tip

The Death By Chocolate Pull-Up Cake is a nice way to celebrate just about anything—we did it cause we got an auto back home.
