Cosy is our all-year round mood and so when we saw the Architectural Digest feature Victoria Secret Model, Taylor Hill's serene home, a 1936 log cabin, as part of their first ever digital cover, we couldn't help but want to recreate it for ourselves. At any point in time, in any room, it feels like you're vacationing at a rustic, mountain-y cabin, shares Taylor. Now who wouldn't want that for themselves? Besides, Taylor Hill is a girl after our own heart, simply because instead of resorting to an interior designer, she chose to decorate her home, herself. You go girl!

This also gives us the freedom to pick and choose decor and home accessories from local brands with similar aesthetics to recreate this cosy cabin. Want to tag along and recreate Victoria Secret Model, Taylor Hill's home aesthetic with us? Read and save this recommendation right away!

The Entrance

At the entrance a warm, yet colourful and inviting antique rug welcomes you -- we think this Orinico Rug from The Rug Republic is the perfect replacement. To fill in the space, there's an antique hutch that sits by the side of the staircase. We found this Airavana Solid Wood Cabinet from Pepper for the same. On the hutch are two important elements, a vase (Taylor opts for a clear glass-type vase) and a log cabin lamp. Keeping with the rustic theme we chose this Wooden Tube Vase from Studio Indigene and Drum Shaped Yogasana Lamp from Nakshikataa to recreate the vibe. Very clean, crisp and inviting.

The Den

The Den is through and through a sung chilling pad and more modern-looking as compared to the other spaces. The centerpieces are very obviously the grey couch, we're getting this L-shaped Grey Sofa Set from Wakefit for that and a round wooden coffee table for which this Marx Coffee Table in dark walnut is a perfect fit. The sofa has some extra cosy elements like decorative cushions and throws -- definitely get these Smocking Decorative Cushions with filler from Sheen Decor in Gery and these Green Waves Cushions from The Shop and to complete the look, don't forget this Fringed Hem Grey Throw from Sanskrutihomes. On the coffee table sits a glass vase, we've picked this Rainbow Glass Vase from Manor House, tall candle holders similar to this Antique Finish Glass Candle Stand from Meera from The House of Bhindar and a decorative marble bowl, like this Marble Lotus Bowl from Amazon. There's a large carpet in this space too -- check out The Rug Republic to find several similar pieces including poufs and pillows and simple white curtains like there Applique Organdy Curtains. We cannot miss the built-in navy shelves that house several of Taylor's favourite things -- books, bar accessories and her collection of elephants, which she shares, is her spirit animal. To dial up the elephant cuteness we recommend buying these White Elephants from Stylish Delights, Hand Carved Elephant Wax Light from Casa Pop and the Elephant In A Log from Mohsinalis Frames. Overall, the mood is very 80s in a 1936 cabin.

The Bedroom

Taylor shares that of all rooms, the primary bedroom upstairs has the most mountain-y feeling of all. It's done up with the most elegant chic metal bed, like this Metal Queen Bed in brown from Royal Oak. The bed itself is kept simple with white sheets and pillowcases -- Taj Linen Bed Set from Saphed for this and to add some nuance, there are a couple statement pillow covers like this Zola Handcrafted Cushion Cover from Mati Maison, a Black and White Diamond Lumbar Pillow from The Velvet Box and a super-soft Fleece Fabric Grey Blanket, this one's from Westside Home, added to the mix. Building on the rustic wood cabin feel, there's a Solid Wood Bed Bench and a Bedside Wooden Chest Table and a Rustic Wooden Rocking Chair to tie everything together. As for the surrounding space, the walls boast vintage art in antique frames that Indie brand Yatha is famous for while the floors have a Boho Pink Rug like this number from Cocoon and a Faux Fur White Area Rug. Trust us, waking but never leaving is the mood we're going for with this room.

The Dining Room

The simplest and most straightforward of them all is the dining room. It has a stunning, huge round dining table with mismatched seats. Of course, you can settle for a small table like this four-seater Trendy Solid Wood Dining Table from Wooden Twist. On the table is a centerpiece Tall Clear Glass Vase and Gold Plated Metal Candle Stands (vintage finish), like these from Nestasia. Right above the dining table is a stunning antique chandelier light. We found a great dupe at an even superb price point in this White Glass Antique Chandelier with 9 lamps on Amazon. The walls again, have stunning vintage blue art but we're replacing those with this Blue Jamdan Wall Art from House This. It's very similar to the original and keeps with the homely, country feel of the whole space. Similarly, the floor has a washed out Persian rug, like this Cream Nylon Washed Out Carpet.

The Bathroom

The bathroom is unexpected and full old-school Hollywood glam with a huge gold-framed vintage mirror, like this pick of the Antique Finish Wall Mirror from House Of Sajja. The mirror is framed by conical wall lamps of the same style but in silver -- we've picked a similar looking White Antique Brocade Shade Wall Light from Fos Lighting to do the job. As for detailing things are kept simple, the gorgeous marble washbasin is allowed to shine with only a really cute metal planter like this Glavanised Metal Planter from The Yellow Pumpkin. It's a little piece of luxury in an otherwise snug home, and we love!
